FAQs

  • Massage is a non-invasive and risk free form of bodywork. 60% of your horses bodyweight is muscle and the muscular system responds to stress by hyper-contraction. When we ride our horses they are not only compensating for their own imbalances, but also the riders. When your horse is compensating that can cause overuse of other muscles causing pain and soreness. With massage we can find these areas of pain and restore them back to their natural state.

  • If your horse shows any of the following signs massage is a great option; unusual behavior including biting, bucking, kicking, rearing etc., if your horse is cold backed/girthy when saddling, trouble with bending, head tossing, stiff or short-strided, muscle spasms, tense through their body, over compensating in certain areas, and if your horse has a consistent heavy workload.

  • BEMER helps to keep your horse in optimal condition and is the perfect complimentary therapy. Using the BEMER post massage helps to enable a deeper manipulation of the muscles and to receive even greater effects than just using the BEMER alone.
